Switch

What is Switch?

The SWITCH foundation manages the .CH extension on behalf of the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM) and also administers Liechtenstein’s .LI. Among other tasks, it manages the central database for domain names under .CH, operates the DNS infrastructure, supports DNSSEC, monitors registrars, and runs a dispute resolution service. SWITCH is also responsible for the technical operation of the .SWISS top-level domain, although .SWISS is overseen by a separate registry authority (the Federal Office of Communications). SWITCH does not manage any other top-level domains beyond .CH, .LI, and the technical backend for .SWISS.

DomainPulse

DomainPulse iis an annual event for German-speaking registrars and domainers, organised in turn by DENIC, SWITCH and NIC.AT.
