Becky Burr is an American lawyer and expert in internet governance and data privacy. As an official at the U.S. Department of Commerce in the 1990s, she helped design the policy that led to the creation of ICANN and the privatization of internet domain management.
Later, she served as Chief Privacy Officer at Neustar and was a member of ICANN’s Board of Directors, playing a major role in shaping internet governance and domain name policies.
