The Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br) is a non-profit civil entity that implements the decisions and projects of the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br).
NIC.br manages the .BR country-code top-level domain (ccTLD) and related second-level domains. It also operates an instance of the L-root server, supporting the global DNS root infrastructure under ICANN coordination, as well as CERT.br (incident response), IX.br (Internet Exchange Points), Ceptro.br (network infrastructure), and Cetic.br (ICT research).
Nic.br is a co-organizer of NetMundial.
