Paul Vixie
Who is Paul Vixie?
Paul Vixie is an American computer scientist and one of the most influential figures in the history of the Domain Name System (DNS). Currently Deputy CISO with AWS, he created BIND, the most widely used DNS software, and founded the Internet Systems Consortium (ISC). He also founded Farsight Security, focusing on DNS intelligence, and has served on key internet governance bodies, including the ICANN RSSAC. Vixie was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame in 2014 for his pioneering contributions to the internet's infrastructure.
