The Root Server System Advisory Committee is an ICANN advisory body focused on the stability and security of the DNS root server system. It brings together Root Server Operators and technical experts to study operations at internet scale and to advise the ICANN Board and community. Its mission is technical guidance, not policy making.
RSSAC publishes advisories and reports that document risks, measurements, and best practices for the root. It engages with operators and technical groups to improve resilience and performance.
