Team Internet Group, formerly known as CentralNic Group, is a global internet services company headquartered in London (UK).
Initially, CentralNic focused on selling third-level domains in pseudo-generic top-level domains (gTLDs) such as uk.com and gb.com. Over time, the company expanded its services to include domain registry and registrar services, web hosting, brand protection, and domain monetization.
The company has pursued an aggressive acquisition strategy to broaden its portfolio. In 2014, CentralNic acquired DomiNIC GmbH, a domain management software company. The same year, it purchased the retail domain registrar Internet.bs. In 2015, the acquisition of Instra Corp, a retail and corporate domain name registrar, was completed. In 2019, CentralNic acquired Team Internet AG, a leading provider of monetization services for domain investors.
In September 2023, CentralNic rebranded itself as Team Internet Group to reflect its diversified services beyond domain registration.
