JPNIC (Japan Network Information Center) is a non-profit organization responsible for managing Internet resources in Japan, including IP address allocation, Autonomous System Numbers (ASNs), and the .JP country code top-level domain (ccTLD) — before these responsibilities were delegated to JPRS.
