Who is Thomas Keller?

Thomas Keller is the CEO of DENIC eG, operator of Germany’s .de domain registry. He joined the executive board in late 2021 and became CEO in early 2022.

He previously chaired DENIC’s supervisory board for many years and worked at 1&1 IONOS leading domain services. At DENIC he oversees registry operations, authoritative DNS with anycast, DNSSEC, zone generation, EPP for registrars, security, and abuse handling. He is also active in the European registry community and has recently served on the CENTR board.
