Pierre Bonis, a French civil servant who has held various positions in the Internet sector, is Chief Executive Officer of AFNIC and a member of the Board of Directors of Centr. He enjoys an positive image in France and internationally, given his commitment to his mission and the results achieved with AFNIC.
Pierre Bonis studied at the University of Sorbonne in Paris, where he obtained a BA in Philosophy and an MA in Literature.
Pierre Bonis has held several key positions in the public and digital sectors. He served as Deputy CEO of AFNIC, where he had previously worked as Product and Partnership Manager. He was an advisor within Nathalie Kosciusko-Morizet’s cabinet at France’s Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Transport, and later became advisor to the French Minister of State for the Digital Economy. At the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he headed the ICT office and also acted as Special Adviser on the Digital Divide.
