TRABİS is Turkey’s official registry for the .TR top-level domain, managed by the ICTA since 2022. It replaced METU, which had handled it since 1991. TRABİS oversees all .TR domains, including .com.tr, .org.tr, and .net.tr.
Most domains now follow a "first come, first served" model, though some (like .gov.tr) still require documents. A dispute resolution system is in place, and domain transfers will be allowed from 2025.
