What is APWG?

Anti-Phishing Working Group

The Anti-Phishing Working Group is an independent counter eCrime association based in the USA and in Spain. It was founded in 2003 by David Jevans, a cybersecurity expert. The organization brings together industry, government, law enforcement, and NGOs to combat phishing, malware, and email fraud. Its core activities include data sharing, threat analysis, research publication, and global collaboration to reduce cybercrime targeting consumers and enterprises.

APWG eCrime 

The Anti-Phishing Working Group hosts each year eCrime, a peer-reviewed, publishing symposium focusing on cyber-physical threats.
