Who is Karen Day?
Karen Day is an American expert in intellectual property and domain name management. She has worked for more than twenty years at SAS Institute, where she oversees global portfolios of trademarks, domains, and copyrights. In addition, she serves as Registry Operations Manager for three new generic top-level domains: .sas, .guardian, and .observer. She is also active in ICANN, where she used to act as Treasurer of the Registries Stakeholder Group, sitted on the board of the Brand Registry Group, and co-chaired policy work on the new gTLD Subsequent Procedures.
