The official registry for Ethiopia’s country code top-level domain .ET is Ethio Telecom, the state-owned telecommunications provider. Ethio Telecom manages both the registry and registrar functions for .et domains, which are available at both second and third levels (e.g., name.et, com.et). In 2019, it partnered with China’s ZDNS to expand and modernize the .et infrastructure and promote domain adoption across Ethiopia.
