Resources on Domain Names >> Data, Statistics and figures

dotDB.com is a big data search engine and subscription based SaaS that includes over 350 million registered domain names across the world. It has been created by Ken Lin.
The tool helps domain investors assess a value of the domain name. It presents which extension are registered for an exact key, as well as domain names that contain this key.
Note: the data provided by DotDB Domain is not totally accurate, as registered domains with no DNS are not taken into account.
dotDB splits access into “Guest” (no account), “Free Member” (registered), and paid plans (Basic, Pro, Expert, plus Enterprise). The real difference is not the UI, it is the quotas and the advanced research features you can actually use.
Guest: 10 searches per day, up to 10 pages of results per search. This is for quick spot checks when you only need a small snapshot.
Free Member (registered): 30 searches per day, still up to 10 pages per search. You also get a small quota for Keyword Trends Search (3 per month), but most analysis features remain unavailable or capped.
Basic ($12.99/month): unlimited daily searches, up to 100 pages per search. Adds Word Analyze (10 per month) and Keyword Insights with monthly caps (100 in results view and 100 in full view). Includes Domain Monitor (10).
Pro ($42.99/month): unlimited daily searches, up to 100 pages per search. Removes the monthly caps on Word Analyze and on Keyword Insights shown in results, and increases Keyword Insights full-view quota (300). Includes Domain Monitor (30) and a much larger Keyword Trends Search quota (1,000 per month).
Expert ($99.99/month): same core search limits as Pro (unlimited daily searches, 100 pages per search) but increases Keyword Insights full-view quota (1,000), Domain Monitor (100), and adds Domain Management (up to 3,000). It also unlocks Bulk Search (up to 10,000 keywords per run) and raises Keyword Trends Search quota (3,000 per month).
In practice: free tiers answer “is this keyword broadly registered?”; Basic/Pro answer “show me the full landscape and let me analyze it”; Expert is for power workflows (bulk keyword lists, portfolio-style management, heavy trend/insight usage).
