What is Namescon?
NamesCon, or the Domain Name Industry Conference, is an annual event that brings together companies, representatives, and individuals in the domain name industry, especially domain investors, registries and registrars. It was founded in 2013 by Richard Lau.
NamesCon was acquired by WorldHostingDays (WHD) in 2016, Godaddy in 2017 and WHD Events Gmbh in 2021, along with CloudFest. The events are now managed by Christian Jaeger and Soeren Von Varchmin.
