Who is Rick Schwartz?
Nicknamed “Domain King”, Rick Schwartz is still arguably the world's best-known domainer, albeit in semi-retirement. Having been one of the main instigators of the storytelling about the exceptional value of domain names, with tactics that some would consider dubious and others ingenious, he has achieved sales of several hundred thousand and even million dollars.
His domain name portfolio now comprises just a few thousand units, the majority of which have no or limited market value. During a live podcast in 2014, where he was invited to share advice Rick Schwartz registered 364 domain names live, explaining his strategy. More than ten years later, around a hundred of them are available for registration again and only a few or possibly none have been sold.
