CcTLD Dropcatching

The major namecatchers such as Dropcatch and Snapnames offer backorders for a very limited number of extensions, including no ccTLDs. Buyers of ccTLD expired domains therefore must turn to other players, of which there are many because each specialise in one TLD or a limited number of TLDs. The vast majority are companies with no more than a handful of employees, and for whom dropcatching is not their sole activity.

The only medium-sized player is Germany's Nicsell. The company is owned by a German domainer with one of the largest portfolios of domain names in the world.
