Nameshift.com is a Dutch marketplace for trading, buying, and selling premium ccTLD domains.
Nameshift’s main advantage is sales performance. It provides optimized landing pages designed to convert type-in traffic, and it can let visitors negotiate prices instead of forcing a single fixed price. That negotiation option can capture buyers who would otherwise leave, and it also gives you more flexibility to close deals when the buyer has a budget constraint.
The main downside is operational friction. Adding domains for sale can feel constrained compared to simpler “bulk add” workflows, which slows down portfolio setup and updates. Another limitation is trust. Nameshift is not widely known, so some buyers may hesitate before paying, especially if they do not recognize the brand or prefer a marketplace they already trust.
Nameshift's team publishes the blog Your Domain News, with short info about the secondary market.
