Nii Narku Quaynor is a Ghanaian computer scientist known as the "father of the Internet in Africa." He introduced Internet services in West Africa, founded the region’s first ISP (NCS), and launched Ghana Dot Com. He helped establish AfriNIC and AfNOG, and served on the ICANN board. He was inducted into the Internet Hall of Fame (2013) and received the Postel Service Award (2007) for his pioneering role in Africa’s digital development.
