Anil Kumar Jain is an Indian engineering graduate who served as an public decider in telecom and IT. Jain was CEO of NIXI and Chief General Manager at BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited). He chaired the India Internet Governance Forum (IIGF) from 2021-2023.
Currently, he is the Chair of ICANN's Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG). Anil Kumar Jain has also held roles as vice-chair of the IDN ccTLD WG4 and the Internet Governance Liaison Group (IGLC). He is a member of ISPCP, the PHR team, and the LD PDP WG.
