Part of the Web.com group, Snapnames and Namejet have a long history of recovering expired domain names. They have merged their services in 2019. Snapnames and Namejet also offer prerelease domain names on an exclusive basis with some of the group's registrars or partners, such as Network Solutions.

Snapnames/Namejet offer a support of poor quality, and domain name management is complicated. Domain names have to be held for 60 days by different registrars, each one worse than the last. Despite this, Snapnames/Namejet is a must for recovering expired .COM or .NET domain names, because in practice it can only be beaten by Dropcatch, as well as for pre-release domain names, thanks to its exclusive partnerships.
